Life moves quickly. Therapy is where we slow down enough to notice what’s actually happening in us, around us, and what becomes clearer from there.

About My Practice

About My Practice

My work as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) is rooted in the belief that meaningful change begins by slowing down and becoming more present with what is actually happening in the moment, within ourselves and within our relationships.

Much of my clinical focus involves helping clients make sense of their emotional and relational experiences as they unfold, rather than rushing toward conclusions or solutions. I support people navigating challenges such as relationship difficulties, communication breakdowns, emotional overwhelm, burnout, anxiety, intimacy concerns, and questions related to sexuality and desire.

In my work with relationships, I am particularly interested in the patterns that emerge between partners, especially around connection, disconnection, repair, and emotional safety. I also hold space for individuals to explore their inner world, including relational history, emotional responses, and the parts of themselves that feel conflicted, stuck, or hard to understand.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in the present moment. I don’t expect clients to come in prepared or knowing exactly what to say. Therapy unfolds from what is alive in the room, in real time, and we work with that together.

At the core of my practice is a commitment to curiosity over perfection. Therapy is not about getting everything right, but about noticing patterns, slowing down enough to understand them, and exploring new ways of relating, to yourself and to others as they emerge in the present moment.

Credentials

I completed foundational studies in Psychology at the University of Ottawa before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sexology from the Université du Québec à Montréal, followed by a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario and a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, authorized to provide psychotherapy services. I began my clinical work in Quebec as a sexologist, where I was a member in good standing with the Professional Order of Sexologists of Quebec before continuing my practice in Ontario.

My clinical experience includes working at a sexual assault centre in Ontario, where I supported individuals impacted by sexual violence and contributed to programming focused on sexual health, consent, relationships, and emotional wellbeing. I have also volunteered on a crisis line, providing support to individuals experiencing distress and crises.

I have completed training in the Gottman Method and continue advanced study in this model in my couples work. I also pursue continuing education in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), narrative therapy, and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), alongside humanistic, existential, and attachment-based approaches.

My practice focuses on individual and couples therapy for adults in Ontario, with an emphasis on relationships, intimacy, sexuality, communication patterns, emotional processing, anxiety, and life transitions. Bilingual services are available in English and French.
